Had a great experience staying here! It’s in a great location — close to UNC’s campus, and the walk there is a bit long but really enjoyable. Big thanks to Kay at the front desk for being so friendly and helpful with any questions I had about the property. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!
nice enough .. AC unit inside my room was loud, didn't work properly, lobby seating was incomfortable, host at front desk couldn't figure out how to get the basketball game on the larger tv
Great option when visiting UNC if you want to get away from the Franklin Street area. Modern rooms that are well appointed. Several food options just a few steps away.
I received excellent customer service from Brandon at the front desk. He was so kind, thoughtful and thorough explaining the hotel’s pricing and amenities. The room is cute and clean and the bed is comfortable. Thanks Brandon for starting our vacation off with a great vibe! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Fun and cozy atmosphere made better by the wonderful staff!
Our granddaughter had surgery at UNC children's, so we booked a room at aloft . The employee's were super friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful and clean. We felt at home, and will definitely stay again if there is ever a need.
We are staying here because our young daughter has an early morning procedure at UNC Children’s hospital. We arrived later in the evening and yet to have dinner. The bartender Derrick (not sure if the name is spelled correctly) invited us to sit with our daughter and recommended a nearby pizza place. But it just wasn’t the recommendation….we placed our order and he offered to pick it up for us and bring it back to the hotel, and did so as soon as we got the notification that it was ready. He was so friendly and welcoming and even made her a fresh fruit smoothie (when one tumbled to the ground, he made another!). He went above and beyond and his customer service skills are admirable! Thank you so much, we appreciate you making our stay here, awesome!
Pros: lovely shower pressure, fun decorations, friendly staff, comfy bed, tiny but nice enough pool. Cons: slight visible water damage on the ceiling above my bed.
Usually not my fav place to stay when in Chapel Hill but the staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Will def consider staying here again.
